Hannah Adams joined the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 2017. She is currently a Senior Legal Adviser in the Ministry’s Legal Division. She was previously posted to the New Zealand High Commission in Singapore from 2021 – 2024 as First Secretary. Hannah was Private Secretary for the Minister of State for Trade from 2019 – 2020 and has worked in the Ministry’s Trade Negotiations Division in Wellington. Prior to joining MFAT, Hannah worked as a Policy Analyst in International Policy at the Ministry for Primary Industries. Hannah has a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of International Trade from the Victoria University of Wellington.
