Allan has worked at MPI in its various forms since 2010. He has an operations, project and programme management background. He has held several leadership roles at MPI including the Manager Strategic Portfolio, Manager Strategy and Planning and most recently the Director Assurance. He was the MPI Incident Controller for Operation Concord, the threat to contaminate New Zealand infant formula with 1080 poison in 2015/2016. Prior to central Government service, Allan served as an Army Officer which included operational tours in East Timor and Sierra Leone. Allan holds a BA, MBA and has attended the Advanced Leadership Programme at Cambridge University, UK. When not working or on dad duties, Allan enjoys craft beer, fishing, scuba and free diving.
