Matt Gough has spent the last 5 years in the vocational training sector. He started with the Workforce Development Council, where he was part of the team that created, reviewed and moderated all standards and qualifications on the NZQA vocational framework.

Matt liaised closely with the refrigeration, mechanical engineering and fabrication sectors, and also with the training provider network, gaining insights into the challenges that both providers and industry face in achieving desirable outcomes.

In his spare time Matt is a semi professional classical musician.
