Depart: Te Pae Christchurch at 11am. Tee off at midday.

Return: Bus back to Te Pae Christchurch by 6pm.

SITE TOUR - Foodstuffs South Island Hornby Distribution Centre

Venue: 17 Hickory Place, Islington

Time: 3.30pm to 6pm

3:15pm departure assembly in the Te Pae foyer then depart by coach to arrive at Foodstuffs by 4pm. The tour will take 90 minutes. After the tour the bus will drive to Christchurch Airport. Airport drop off will be at approximately 6pm. The bus will then return to Te Pae Convention Centre to drop off anyone staying in Christchurch overnight.

Cost per person: $89 Includes transport to the Airport after the tour. Hi-vis will be provided. Closed toe shoes must be worn.

During a tour of our Hornby Distribution Centre, you’ll get to see our new state of the art automated freezer in action. The visit will also include a walkthrough of our Ambient and Temperature Controlled DCs, which together support the movement of 1.3 million bulk cartons each week to our network across the South Island.  

The tour offers a valuable insight into how our operational teams work together to keep product flowing efficiently through the network, making sure shelves stay stocked and we continue delivering value for our customers every day.
