The Beer Tasting will be held at Craft Embassy at 126 Oxford Terrace, a 5-minute walk from Te Pae Convention Centre. Described as having the best New Zealand craft beer selection in Central Christchurch, with 30 Taps of independent New Zealand craft beer.

Please bring your conference lanyard and ID with you to participate in the beer tasting.

Registration open at Te Pae venue from 10am for badge pick up.

SITE TOUR - Foodstuffs South Island Hornby Distribution Centre

Venue: 17 Hickory Place, Islington

Time: 3.30pm to 6pm

3:15pm departure assembly in the Te Pae Christchurch foyer then depart by coach to arrive at Foodstuffs by 4pm. The tour will take 90 minutes. After the tour the bus will drive to Christchurch Airport. Airport drop off will be at approximately 6pm. The bus will then return to Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre to drop off anyone staying in Christchurch overnight.

Cost per person: $89 Includes transport to the Airport after the tour. Hi-vis will be provided. Closed toe shoes must be worn.

During a tour of our Hornby Distribution Centre, you’ll get to see our new state of the art automated freezer in action. The visit will also include a walkthrough of our Ambient and Temperature Controlled DCs, which together support the movement of 1.3 million bulk cartons each week to our network across the South Island.  

The tour offers a valuable insight into how our operational teams work together to keep product flowing efficiently through the network, making sure shelves stay stocked and we continue delivering value for our customers every day.

SITE TOUR - Goodman Fielder Meadow Fresh UHT Milk & Dairy Manufacturing Facility

Venue: 412-442 Blenheim Road, Upper Riccarton

Time: 3.30pm to 5.30pm

3:15pm departure assembly in the Te Pae Christchurch foyer for the scheduled site visit to Goodman Fielder. The tour of the facility will take 60 minutes. After the tour, the coach will continue directly to Christchurch Airport for drop-off at approximately 5.30pm, allowing those flying out to continue their travel without returning to Te Pae to collect luggage. Following the airport drop-off, the bus will return to Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre to transfer any remaining passengers back to their original starting point.

Goodman Fielder has expanded its Meadow Fresh UHT milk facility in Christchurch, with increased capacity to meet international demand.

With an increase in production to 5 lines at 52 pallets/hour, Goodman Fielder required a solution to support the site’s high-volume dairy storage and distribution processes.

The visit will include a walkthrough of the manufacturing facility and a look at the first four-way shuttle installation in New Zealand.
